The rest of my world revealed to me
In reference to my post on April 1st, although the melting of the rest of the snow and ice keeps making the city around me even more beautiful, around my building seems to leave much to be desired. The interlocking brick is nice...... except where threre are gaping muddy holes (approx. 3m by 1m by 50cm deep; that’s a BIG hole!). We have a nice patch of lawn in our front yard...... that has revealed itself to be a pit of stones that has spread over all of our sidewalks. We have some nice green space in our back yard with trees and bushes….. and garbage, and old construction materials, and the occasional homeless person.
Oh well, the interior is still beautiful!

I was parking the other day, and my right front wheel pretty much disappeared into a pothole I didn't see. I'm relatively sure the left rear one lifted off the ground. That was a big hole. I bet the city will fix it by 2080. Maybe. I'll come back in my hovercar to check it out. But, of course, if people are driving hover cars, there will be no need to maintain the street at all. I wonder how that will affect the underground infrastructure...
hey, you leave a long comment on my blog, I leave a long comment on yours! hah.
Meh, I have no problems with the long comment. I wasn't planning on making mine that long, but it was Shakespearian; no word could be removed without compromising my point...yeah right!
I'm guessing by geography, your pothole was bigger than mine!
Andrew, do you have pothole envy?
